    Default e-mail field disappeared

    Hi,
    I have insert some accounts and contacts with e-mail address, today when I go in edit of my records or in add of new records the e-mail field is not visible. In view mode I can see all the email address but if I go in edit mode the field is not visible, if I click on "+" button nothing happens.

    Any help? Thank's.

    Which version are you using?

    Did you install any package or customize code by hand?
    Can you provide zipped custom/modules/Accounts/?

    The version I use is 6.1.2.
    Now I use the Italian language pack, but the problem it is present also with the english version.

    Before the installation of the italian language pack I changed manually some text label.

    Probably it is due some javascript error.
    Follow my tips here and let us know the error message.

    Solved.
    It was a IE9 compatibility problem, with the compatibility visualization active all works.

    Interesting. I couldn't see the fields in Google Chrome 10.0.648.133

    But I can see them in IE8

    My email field has gone as well.

    Chrome 10.0.648.204 does not display the field.

    Chrome for Mac (don't know which version) does work and IE8 works as well.

    What am I doing wrong. I did not understand the resolution people said to have found, I'm just an enduser salesguy. All tips are welcome.
