Dear readers,
We have been using SugarCRM for quite some while now, and the software is very pleasing and really helpful. However there is one particularly bug that results in annoying situations. I will try to describe it briefly:
From our reseller host we have set up several IMAP mail accounts for each contributing member of the company. These seem to work very fine with Thunderbird and other e-mail software. Although Thunderbird does expect a different directory structure than SugarCRM this doesn't seem to cause the problem. Most of the times all members are capable of reading their e-mail. However, several situations seem to trigger a specific situation where the e-mail is gathered from the server. (I took a screen shot of the exact situation on screen!)
1. It just hangs and stays stuck during the retrieving new e-mail message.
(also when totally resetting the account, creating one from scratch or deleting all e-mail directly from the server)
2. The directory's trash and sent are not visible under the account.
3. I do not dare to pinpoint the exact triggers for this behavior, I do not see them. Most of the times the e-mail works fine, then suddenly stops, to begin working again after some time (apparently something happened on the server or in sugar to get it going again)
4. Firefox shows the following error:
Error: app_strings.LBL_EMAIL_DOWNLOAD_STATUS is undefined
Source File: http://www.prestar.nl/sugarcrm/modul...cript/ajax.js?
Line: 615
Now the erroneous behavior is vastly differently and the real problem is not really shown (no error message) resulting in frustration from my side. I just can't figure out what seems to be the problem. I didn't look into the JavaScript yet, mainly because I'm not very experienced with JavaScript.
Is anyone familiar with these problems and did you find a satisfying solution?
Thanks in advance for any help or pointers!
