E-mails problems again and again

Hi all,

Ok, sugarcrm is great. But:

The latest version has a lot of new gimmicks, but please, there are so many bugs again and again which persits over the various versions ...

1. e-mail reply: html text wrong line brakes
2. 4.5 html text is often in the prorgamm area due to htlm errors (NEW)
3. inbound e-mail text is in spite of new chars sets broken, only a part is showing, in raw data present (NEW)
4. the search doesn't search in the whole string, only with the beginning of the string (awfull)
5. the ordering in the subpanels changes, if you come back
6. the importet date of the inbound e-mails is wrong
...

I am tired to post such things here, I have the feeling nothing happened with this hints and efforts of the users.

I don't want to be too negative, I love the program and I am working with it (thanks to the developers!!!), but this erros makes my life complicated, every day. So please take a look at it, it would be fantastic if it happens something here. Please !

Email is the most buggy area of SugarCRM and they have admitted this. Have a read of this thread and this post to get a feel of where we are at:

Have you updated to 4.5.0c? This fixes some bugs, hopefully a lot more email bugs will get fixed in 4.5.0d if everything is delivered as promised...

I am as concerned about the email issues as you, so I hope I can bring you some relief:

This shall be fixed in the patch scheduled for today. Alternatively, maybe this post also helps.

4. the search doesn't search in the whole string, only with the beginning of the string (awfull)

After applying the 4.5.0c patch, I don't have this problem any longer.
