    Default Edit Dashlet Changes Not Saving and Data Not Showing - My Top Open Opportunities

    Trying to use the Edit feature to change the "My Top Open Opportunities" dashlet to show/hide columns. Non of the edits are saved after hitting Save. Upon re-opening the edit window, old selections are still there - the changes made are not reflected. Also, for some users no data is showing at all even though the settings have been checked for accuracy. Is there a known fix for this? We are on Version 5.0.0b (Build 3150). thanks.

    Hello nixjen,

    can you please explain the exact fields you removed and those your tried to display? and any other changes you tried to make?

    I just tried to change the columns displayed and was able to do so (on 5.0b)

    Thank you for your reply. I am trying to add probability, account name, and type to the dashlet. Currently the only columns showing are: opportunity name, expected close date, and amount.

    I clicked the Edit icon, moved the columns over to the Display Columns area, hit save, and then refresh. The dashlet doesn't update.


    The filters are set up OK but in case this info has any bearing on the above, the user has applied a filter to show all opps' with a sales stage of anything but Closed Won or Closed Lost, and another filter to show only items assigned to his ID (instead of checking the box "only my items").

    Hello,

    I tested this out with all the same fields you listed and the same parameters with both and admin and non admin user and had no problems. Maybe try to remove the dashlet and reinsert it and try again, or if this still does not work, try going going to 'My Account' and Reset to Default 'Homepage'. This will reset all the dashlets to the default. See if you are then able to update your dashlet.
