I had some issues with a custom module relationship to my Contact module- I ended up deleting them manually, and finally got it to work via studio.

Now I have only 1 problem. Something went totally wrong somewhere with my Email Address fields.

Neither a Contact or Account email address fields are Updated on edit after user press save button.

When i create a NEW Contact or Account it will save the email address. but if i then go to edit the contact or account afterwards no setting related to the email is saved. not even delete trash icon press is saved, or setting opt-out, etc.

i have set my debug mode on and in the log file there is no UPDATE SQL command- just the SELECT command to see if the "new" edited address is in the db- but there is no save.

all other fields save fine- it is just related to Emailaddress.

Any ideas- this is on my production server and it is causing me to lose my hair and soon my job...hahaha

please help
