I feel like I'm taking crazy pills here!

I have been looking for 2 1/2 hours to figure out how to change how many fields can appear on a row. I have a series of check box fields that I would like someone to tick off in accounts. Unfortunately I cannot get them to display more than two to a row which leaves them terribly stretched out.

My googling has lead me to a feature called FIELD LAYOUT in Studio, unfortunately I do not see this option anywhere.

I also couldn't find this info in the help file. I feel like this is such a simple thing no one else has had trouble with it... can someone post this ultra-n00b to the answer?
