Edit Lead convert page in Sugar CRM CE 6.3.1

Hi

i have been trying to find a to edit the convert lead page in sugar for about two weeks now and have done a lot of research on the forms with no avail. Finley I found the answer and Edited it sooo much ease !!!!!

This is were i found the file: /modules/Leads/metadata/convertdefs.php

once I opened the file it was petty self explanatory and easy to use.


A little bit of back story, This is mostly for Google to pick this post up with a bigger variety of searches.

I Read the SugarCRM documentation for Version 6.3.1 and it stated that in order to edit the convert lead page all i had to do was go to studio -> Leads -> Layouts Not true in the CE version. after reading some of the forms, some one stated that the file was in the modules/Leads/views folder "view.convertlead.php" Also not true after some time i found the file in the metadata folder and added each field one at a time. It Worked like a charm thanks for reading.

Customization of Convert Lead through Studio is available only on Commercial editions.
