edit view in studio not working

Hi,

I have seen this issue mentioned elsewhere but could not find a solution.

Basically, when you go to 'edit view' of a module through studio, it only shows the 'detail view' and not the edit view. When you try and force the link to the edit view, you are redirected to the 'detail view'.

Some have suggested this is a windows problem or permissions or even php mode but i disagree, because i managed to edit the 'edit view' once before and i have not changed a single sql, php, file system setting since.

Any ideas? Thank you!

Okay - let me rephrase the problem.

I am using the TeamOS module and i need to be able to add the 'assign to team' field to all modules. Now, the TeamOS guys say this should be done using the Studio edit feature.

But, the only time i can forsee using the Studio Edit feature is to add this field to the modules.

SO, maybe i should edit the code / database manually to make this addition? If so, can anyone point me in the right direction?
