Editing Line Items view under quotes

Hi,

is there a simple way to edit the rows under the quotes section?

at the moment it shows:

Quantity Product Mft Num Tax Class Cost List Unit Price

We would like to just have:

Quantity Product Unit Price

Is this only available to edit at code level or is there a magic menu I am overlooking?

The single way to customize this section is editing a very very big javascript: modules/Quotes/quotes.js
