    Default Editing a Published Module

    Hey Guys,

    Ok I was working on a custome module in module builder and Published a copy of it.

    I uninstalled sugarcrm and reinstalled it to have a fresh copy.

    My problem is now I cant continue to edit my custom module.

    Ive tried copying folders over to the module builder directory, but it doesnt quite work right.

    Can someone tell me how to do this?

    when you published the module it should have created a zip file in your downloads folder.

    use the module loader to import the zip file

    So how do I do that? Whenever I import it, it becomes available to install, then I can edit it in Studio;
    BUT i want to edit it in modulebuilder and it doesnt show up there.

    OK ... sorry .... I misread your post. The short answer is no .... Module Builder creates files in the custom/modulebuilder directory which are needed to edit modules.

    These files are not created using module loader

    So there is no way to load a published package back into Module BUILDER ?

    I can reconstruct the modules I created no problem. My problem is i have a ton of custom fields that I need in the package. Is there a way to copy the fields from a deployed package into one in Module Builder?
