Just had a presentation at a customer and the screen layout (EditView) under IE7/Win7 looked horrible. Line spaces between fields were at least twice as high as with FF on exactly the same server/version (52j).
Any explanation or better a cure?

Long since abandoned IE ... is FireFox not an option or does the customer mandate IE?

The latter unfortunately.
SF replacement, so the screen layout hurts even more because SF does indeed have a nice one.

Anybody? Or am I the only one who sees this? There are still about 50% IE users out there, almost all of them belonging to Sugar's preferred target - business users.

Rob ... I agree with your concern ... it would be useful to get some SugarCRM eyeballs on this ... IE still has majority market share and it doesn't make a lot of sense not to cater specifically for it.
Anyone from SugarCRM got some input on this?

Yeah, you're right. Especially in this case. The company in question has to use IE because of their own products. I will test it with 5.5, maybe the new css make all the difference...

5.5 looks ok. At least with ie8. The question now: how long will it take until it becomes stable enough for production use? The usual 3-6 months is definitely too much.
