editviewdefs.php missing

Recently had a trouble free upgrade to SugarCE-6.4.0RC. Well done me!

Days have passed with no problems until today as I have been trying to send out a marketing campaign to 300 contacts.

First strange symptom was that only 1 test email was sent in my 'test' target list. The other emails stayed in the email queue and would not leave, even when I would click the 'send emails in queue' button.

Email setting are correct, when I click send test email in 'email settings' it sometimes sends the test email, sometimes not.

I then figured it might be an idea to create some new email settings through the same same 'email settings' page, by clicking '+create' (top right), then the following error message with appear.

Error: File [modules/EmailMan/metadata/editviewdefs.php] is missing. Unable to create because no corresponding HTML file was found.

Checked the folder on the server and the error message is correct, there is not editviewdefs.php file!

Does anyone have experience with issues similar to this, or may have idea what the monkeys is going on.

I also do not see the editviewdefs.php file in that folder, was there an entry in the error log for this, and if so, what does it say?

While I was playing with this yesturday it appears there was a collection of errors logged. None of which are jumping out at me as being highly connected.
