    Default Email account problem

    I am using SugarCRM 5.2.0, and I am trying to test/save e-mail account in Email module.
    When I try to do that, I have to wait for 30+ minutes, or abort testing/saving and then I need to restart the server via SSH.

    When I wait for 30+ minutes I get "check your settings" or when I test the account - "connection timed out"

    I have installed SugarCRM on virtual Linux server, set a completly new database.

    Any advice? Everything seems to be in order, but I can't get this add/save e-mail accounts to work.

    Hi,
    I have the same prop. Using sugar 5.2.0 on a Linux 11.1 Server.
    Geeting emails causes time out.

    Did you hear sth about that?

    No. So far I read many post about similar problems, but none of them helped me to resolve this. It seems like SugarCRM cannot connect to gmail account, though it's not supported yet according to gmail forum.
