Email address check failed

Hello!

We upgraded Sugar to 5.5 version.

and now the Email address check doesn't work.

When I input email adress in a special field then the message "Checking for existing email entry..." appears and it doesn't execute.

in this mode I can't save the changes in the module.

IE 8 shows mistakes in /include/javascript/sugar_grp1_yui.js?c=1

What can help?

Are you experiencing JavaScript problems in other areas of the application as well? For example, Studio?

Yes,

I see now that the tree in studio appears, but in folder of tree there is nothing.

Chances are there is a problem with your permissions as it does not appear to be loading the JavaScript.

Double check your permissions, specially the <sugar>/cache directory and its contents.

is it only in 5.5 I must change permissions?

we used 5.2 before it and everithing was good.

A number of users have been reporting odd permissions issues with 5.5 that didn't come up with 5.2, so it is possible your problem may be a variation of those problems.
