Email Addresses missing/not linked

I am using Sugarcrm 5.0e. I recently upgraded from 5.0d. I just noticed that my contact emails are not showing up. I went back to my 5.0d instance and all is OK. I have looked in the database with phpmyadmin and all the addresses are in the email_addresses yet they don't show up in the contact view. I have done a quick repair and relationship rebuild to no avail. Is this a bug ? Also, when I look in studio, I don't see an email address field, yet it displays in the view ???

Can we see a screenshot? Is this only happening to the Contacts module, or other modules as well?

I'm wondering if the entire "E-mail Addresses" section is missing on the DetailView, or if it's just the missing e-mail data.

There is no data showing in the email address field in the detail view. The database table seems to have all of them though. The field shows in the detail view with "none" beside it.

Where are you finding the e-mail addresses in the database? (which tables and columns)

As of Sugar 5.0, we're no longer storing e-mail addresses in the email1 and email2 columns in tables such as contacts, prospects, and leads. They're all centrally stored in the email_addresses table. They are linked to other records with the email_addr_bean_rel and emails_email_addr_rel tables.

Check if those tables are empty, or if data seems to be missing from them. I suspect that's the problem-- if so, we can also find a script that'll fix this.

The email_address table is where I was looking. It seems all the addresses are there and they have bean id relationships but still don't show in the detail view of my contacts.
My earlier version 5.0.0d shows them fine ( i kept an instance). I upgraded from this version.
