Sugar 5.0f, Centos 5, Php 5, Apache2.x
OK, I could use some suggestions here.
Accessed our system remotely last night using the static IP for our system. (The firewall is passing through all requested to port 80, and yes we have additional security beyond the sugar login to get in!)
Went to the email (BTW there were no accounts setup.) clicked the settings and email accounts tab.
Entered data for a user (me) clicked test. Took like forever and failed even though things were fine. Had the same thing happen to me at home on the local development machine I have running 5.1b.
Here at the office no problems setting up and retrieving.
Same issue with the calendar. Remote does not show the shared calendar in full. Local access no problem. (BTW we are configuring the VPN to eliminate remote access issues and security stuff!)
Any ideas why this might be happening. Do I need to adjust something on the firewall?
Thanks for any suggestions. What other remote things have been noticed?

ADDED:
Remote test of 5.1 email settings gets this response after a couple of minutes. Ideas?
