Default email campaign sitting with "checked"

    It's driving me nuts.

I've set up a target list with 5 members, a campaign, the email template, the bounce inbox, the smtp server. I send the campaign (backdated to have it moved immediately to the outbound queue), I go to the Admin panel, I say "send queued emails", some movement, sent/attempts goes to "1", status changes to "checked" and that it was. No further action (if I included a target with opt-out = 1 it's duly removed from the queue).

When I look at the campaign and/or targets - no entry whatsoever, the emails are still sitting in the queue. And the best is: I already DID it. I successfully sent a test campaign some days ago.

Can anybody help? I am clueless and I have to send out almost 6.000 mails NOW. Unfortunately I can't move this bloody trade show to another day just because Sugar is not able to handle a simple invitation.

[EDIT]: Sorry, forgot to mention: I'm using 4.5h on an Ubuntu box, single outbound emails work, inbound test (POP) went ok.

Hi roblaus, it sounds like your cron job is not running. Step 2 of this Wiki article mentions the scheduler jobs. More info about the scheduler can be found in the online documention.

    Hi,

As far as i know emails should be processed immediately if you press the "send queued email" button in the admin section. God knows why it didn't do it. I say it didn't because after I simply deleted and re-created the target list all of a sudden it worked again.

Unfortunately fairly unpredictably: Sometimes the tracker image is in, sometimes not. The opt out line stays although I explicitly don't want opt-out (and that's what I set and what the tracker panel shows). But not always. There were cases (not reproducible) where the opt-out line disappeared. The opt-out link doesn't show in Thunderbird but it does (same campaign) on gmail. And I did NOT fiddle with any settings outside of the user interface.
