I'm running SugarCRM v4.5.1g with the Ajexa iMarketing plugin for our campaigns on Windows XP. I'm currently only testing the free demo version.
I'd like to know if Sugar can handle what we're trying to do. I've set up a campaign template that basically sends a teaser email to all targets in the list to their personal email address. The template then sends another 'full information' email that will be displayed within our system in the user's message center. We need the teaser email to be sent to the target's personal email address, while the 'full information' email needs to be sent to an internal email address that the target does not have access to.
I've noticed that when you set up a target list, there is no option to choose whether to send to the target's email address, or other email address. I've tested with the other email address, and it seems a campaign email is never sent to that email address, even if the primary email address send fails.
Is there any way to do what we're trying to do without having to set up basically two Target records for each person (one Target record having the person's personal email address, and the second Target record having the person's internal email address)?
Any help would be much appreciated! We're showing a demo to upper mgmt. tomorrow and would really like to wow them with Sugar's capabilities.
