I have installed Sugar Communicty Edition (Version 6.1.3 (Build 5640)) 2 weeks ago and so far everything seems to work fine except one thing. The main reason why I installed Sugar CRM is because of the Email Campaign feature and it is this feature that is giving some problems.
I’ll try to describe my problem as detailed as possible. First of all, I created a campaign, added a target list and created a marketing message. When I try sending out the emails by clicking on the button ‘Send Emails’, I get the following error message :
‘The following marketing messages do not have a mail account associated with them.
Please correct that before proceeding.’
So, when i try to correct that and click on the regarding marketing message, the dropdown list behind ‘Use Mailbox’ does not contain any data (except ‘-none-‘). I guess that this dropdown list should contain the mailbox that I configured in the administration section?
I did configure the Email Settings in the administration section and I also made sure that the checkbox ‘Allow users to use this account for outgoing email’ is checked on. I have also send a test email and it all went wel.
What am I doing wrong or is this some kind of a bug? Help would be more than appreciated, without this feature Sugar CRM is worthless for me…
I am using the admin user so – in my opinion – it has nothing to do with permissions etc… Other customisations and settings changes are working fine…
