    Exclamation email campaigns are not working

    HI

    i created target and target list and i created campaign with campaign wizard.there i set up mailbox an i used pop3 connection.
    email set up every thing is succesfull .but i don't know why it is not working? can u pls explain me step by how to configure email settings for campaign emails .when i select the target list to sent mails iam getting the following error

    "Please select the campaign messages that you would like to schedule for sending at specified start date and time:"

    after sending emails if i click on view status i cn't see status bar there can u pls tell me how to configure the setting for campaign emails

    can u pls tell me what is problem can u pls how to do that?pls help me to overcome this problem

    The campaig system in Sugar 4.5.1 is NOT automated. There is NOT an autoresponder built into to the system

    It may;however, be in the 5.0 releasE???

    I'm not sure exactly what's happening in your case, but you might want to review the How Do I guide for creating an email campaign. It's located in the Sugar Online Training Library, under Marketing.

    I'm also having problems sending out email campaigns. I've followed the directions down to the letter, and all I get is an 401 ErrorDirective message in the hosting systems log file and a message that I'm over the limit for messages per hour - but I'm only sending three emails and the limit is 100. ANYidea on what could be wrong? Is it a problem with an .htaccess file for opt out? Is it with a tracker? I'm totally lost as what to look at next.

    Hi matthewboh, the 401 error (unauthorized access) sure points to some issue on the hosting side. If none of the emails were sent this pretty much clinches it.

    You may want to attempt dramatically simplifying the email, removing all tracker URLs that you can, if only as a test. But it's very doubtful that trackers are causing the issue.

    Also, if it's only 3 emails you wish to send you may consider sending them directly via the email module. In this way you can also test the base measure of your system's ability to send even a single email.

    Presuming that it can, then we can look at the specific differences introduced in this process by Campaign Mgt.

    I did remove all of the tracker URLs and I'm no longer getting the problem. However, my hosting service still says that it's blocking the email even though they have set my limit at 100, and I have changed the batch emails to 10.

    I am able to send out emails using my email account, but have another email account for bounced emails.

    What else could be the problem?
