We're currently wrapping up testing of Sugar as a replacement for Goldmine and have a number of email client related questions:
1. Is there a way to increase the number of emails per page to greater than 50? Admin | System Settings | Listview Items Per Page set to 200 does not seem to affect the emails per page. Deleting a lot of spam from the inbox is a hassle having to delete 50 at a time. Also, when we select all emails from 1 screen (say 50), and delete the 50 messages, the inbox goes empty (not having viewed all emails yet).
2. When a message is forwarded, the header in Sugar shows the original sender's name and email address. When that forwarded message is received in another email client, only the name appears (email address is missing).
3. The Sent Emails folder seems to appear and disappear on occasion.
4. Subfolders of My Emails are created and then go missing - even though the emails that were imported to this folder are in the database (we can see them associated to the correct contact).
Thanks for a great CRM. Verdict is still out on the email client...
