Email compose "Insert link" not working in Safari (Mac)

I filed a bug report.

Mac OS X 10.4, Sugar 5.2.0d, PHP 5.2.9, Apache 2 (current), Safari browser (current 3.2.3)

When I highlight some text in an email I'm composing and click the "insert link" icon, I get a pop-up that is blank.

Works OK in Firefox.

Must be a Javascript issue... or my version of Safari is corrupted.

Also, when I compose email, the return key double spaces (<p> not <br>). How do you get just a single new line in email?

I was hoping this would be fixed in the brand new 4.0 version of Safari... but it isn't. I still get a blank pop-up when I try to insert a link into email.

Can someone else please try it and verify it is a true bug?

I have the same problem in Safari (Mac) using Safari 4.0. The little pop-up builds correctly in FireFox. Must be a Java compatibility issue. It sucks, but I am using FireFox now.

I received an auto-email a week ago that the bug was assigned to one of the programmers so maybe we will get this fixed in the next patch.
