    Default email field issue

    I have a user that cannot add email addresses to her leads. The attached picture shows what she sees on her laptop. The + sign does not open upon a mouse click, and no ability to add email addresses avails itself to her.

    When I log on as that user on my own computer, I have no problems. This must be specific to her browser setup, somehow (she's an IE user), but I'm at a loss as to where to look. Advice appreciated.

    If your SugarCRM instance is 6.1 and her IE is 9 ask her to use the IE on Compatibility Mode.

    I don't use IE much, and don't know what version she's using to be honest.

    Is this a non-problem with 6.3 CE? I am preparing to upgrade from 6.1.6

    6.3 should be fine, but you might not clear the cache.
