    Default email field properties

I have run into an odd issue where I cannot save edits to a target if I have removed a previously added email address. Assuming that it might be set as a required field, I looked in the studio under targers for the field property. Oddly enough, it isn't there. There is no listing for the email field under targets (or contacts, for that matter).

Is something broken, or are they not supposed to be there? And this is how it is supposed to be, where is the field actually listed?

    Default Re: email field properties

    Hi,

I would say that since version 5, email addresses are not stored anymore in the contacts (or targets) tables directly but in a separate database table.
This table (in fact I don't know its name) is linked using a one to many relationship to contact table (1 contact, many email adresses).
This table is not reachable through Sugar studio so you will not be able to modify email field property from there.
    Hope that helps.
