Email Issues IE8

My account shows I have 24 emails in my inbox, when I click on the inbox it loads an empty inbox, and says No message to display in the bottom right hand corner.

I am able to access my email without issue from IE7 and FF, but IE8 does not seem to be working. I am hosting sugarCRM on a Windows 2003 server with PHP5.2.6. Sugar version is 5.1.0b.

I have experienced the same problems with IE8. The screen refreshes on the email module don't work properly. Sometimes for instance, when entering the email module the emails are displayed. Changing the sort order of the emails will then result in all emails immediately disappearing. If there is more that one page of emails (I think 20 are displayed per page) then paging through will sometimes display the older emails, but those which should display in the last page (newest emails) will not be visible. The page display also does not work properly. It will, for example display "Page 1 of 4" and if you continue paging the counter will increment indefinitely - so you can carry on paging to Page 5 of 4, page 6 of 4 etc.

I also noticed that other forms do not behave correctly under IE8. When editing an email account for instance, some of the fields will refuse to take changes until you delete the account and set it up again.

The sugar interface as a whole is also much slower under IE8. I installed Firefox and noticed immediate increase in responsiveness, as well as resolving all the email display problems.
