Email lead / contact / account from respective screen

Hi -

Wondering if its possible to incorproate a way to create a way to email a lead, contact, or an account, right from their respective screen.

Scenario being, a salesperson has a lead on the phone, and the lead requests more information. I want a templated piece of information to be sent out via email to that lead, assuming the lead has an email address. It would also be nice to treat it like a campaign to see if the lead actually clicked on the embedded link, opened the message, etc etc. This email that is sent out was pre-made by senior salespeople, utilizing macros, with specific text, etc etc.

Is this possible? If so, does this functionality exist in CE? How about Professional?

Hi -

Well, looks like I can make a campaign... but I don't want to have to do that when its not really a campaign. Its more of a request for more information to be sent to the lead, contact, or account, if they request it.

Hi -

Just a little update here, in case anyone else was wondering the same thing....

In List View, I can select a lead, and then hit 'Compose Email'. From there, it will populate the To: field, then I can go to 'Options' and select the template that I want to use.
