Email to Lead - No email address

SugarCRM CE 6.2.3

I was showing a client how to to a Quick Create->Lead when looking at an email in the Email Module and we noticed that the email address wasn't populating in the Quick Create Lead screen.

Is this by design or is this a bug?

Also I need to customize this screen so when an email is converted into a lead and the Quick Create screen comes up, the user can add the new lead AND also add an outbound phone call at the same time.
