Lightbulb Email lead x days after creating it

    Hi all,

I'm looking for something that can do the following:

    Email leads:

On creating the lead, the lead will be sent email 1.
5 days after creating the lead, the lead will be sent email 2.
10 days after creating the lead, the lead will be sent email 3.

So essentially after 10 days, the same lead will receive 3 emails.

Is it possible to do this with CE? Is there anything out there that's close to this or can I make a new module to do it?

    Hope someone can help!

This is possible, but would require a workflow capability. Workflow is not available with CE by default, but there are some plug ins you can try on the Sugar Forge, otherwise this could always be custom created as well.

For SugarCRM CE there is a module on Sugarforge called Process Manager. The free Community Edition will allow you to set up a process that emails the Lead when it is created in the Sugar.

To follow up on Simons reply - there are two versions of Process Manager, our community edition which allows you to send the email to the lead on the create of modification of the lead, and our Enterprise Version of Process Manager which allows you to do time based workflow. You can setup a business process in Process Manager to send a new lead an email on create, then another one 1 day later, then another one 2 days later, then schedule a call 3 days later and so on.

Check out the online demos that show how to do this at www.sierracrm.com
