Email Problem: I can reply to an email but I cannot send a newly composed email

Hi All,

I have a problem with sending emails through smtp. I use Sugarcrm 5.2.0 hosted on a PLESK server. The problem is that when I compose a new email to a contact and I hit send i get this message:

Error emailing:SMTP Error: Could not connect to SMTP host.

But when I reply to an email of the same contact it goes through without any problems. I have checked email adresses, SMTP settings etc.

It seems very strange that I can reply but not compose?! Any ideas?

Just had a look through sugarcrm.log and this is the error message i am getting:

SugarPHPMailer encountered an error: SMTP Error: Could not connect to SMTP host.

Try using sendmail as an option instead of SMTP
