Email search not working CE 5.5.1

Hello

My email search function is not working for any field (from, to, subject, dates.....). In fact my search button is gray color so I think there must be something wrong.

Any ideas of this problem cause?

The first place to start with many issues like this is permissions ... check them ... then let us know if this is still an issue
