When I try to save changes made in email security settings, after clicking SAVE, the changes do not actually ...change. Any ideas?? Pulling my hair out.
I am using SugarCRM Community on Ubuntu Server.

What is your database? MySQL?
Try to run the mysql tools analyze, repair, optmize. It is possible some tables are corrupted.
If everything is OK check the sugarcrm.log and apache error_log any error message.

May have found the culprit in the apache2 error log:

Question is....now what? Any thoughts are appreciated.
Actually I don´t think this error is related to issue you are facing.
If you install and enable Firebug in Firefox you will see several errors like that on sugar. It is due missing files or wrong file references. But these issues don´t affect the save process.
It must be something else.

See below....these are EmailMan specific errors. They are also exactly at the same time I tried to save my email security settings. What do you think?

Set the Sugar Log Level to Debug (this can be done from Admin > System Settings > Logger Settings section) and check the sugarcrm.log file inside your Sugar directory. It should give you some details about the problem.

Thanks for the idea hxd. No, nothing remarkable in the sugarcrm.log file. When I try and save my email security settings no additional log entries either. I have noticed that some other information cannot be saved either in Activities too.
Really stumped.
