Email setting in NT sever

I got this waring when I try to set up my inbound email. How do I solove this issue?

Also I can not make send mail work, I try out the SMTP methdo, it only show send error, but no any detail.

I've got the same error and unfortunatly I do not have access to the root server files (we are using webhost4life).

None of the topics on this subject have been much help. If anyone has had any dealing with webhost4life and gotten inbound emails to work, please let me know.

Hi,

If you are using a shared host you need to contact support and ask them to enable (Windows) or recompile (Linux) PHP with the IMAP c-client library. I have shared hosting on Linux and they were able to do this for me within a few hours.
