    Default Email template variables

We cannot get the variables to work at all when sending out our email templates.
What we're trying is adding "$contact_user_user_name" and "$contact_user_first_name" in the template, but Sugar seems to be replacing it with complete air.

We're running SugarCE 5.5 at a Linux server.
And we have not edited the email template module.

    Any hints/suggestions are appreciated.

    Hey

I had some problems before with variables on templates.
At the end the problem was that the variables I entered were empty.

Be sure the variables you entered correspond with the fields you have filled.
Try a variable that you are sure you have filled on your database

    I hope it helps

I sent the mail out to 2 users, and they both recieved it. And I use the variable "$contact_user_user_name" and that field is always filled in the database, so it should be working? I guess it may be something else...
