Email templates not appearing in dropdown

Hi

There seems to be an issue with this for other people as per previous forum topics. I can create email templates and they seem to save fine, they are visible under the View Templates list. They are also seemingly attached to the campaign as per screenshot one - this must have happened when I first clicked Create instead of selecting from the dropdown. However, when I try to use them in an email campaign, they don't appear in the template selector. I only get the two pre-installed ones about passwords (in the bit shown in screenshot 2)

There are some errors in my apache log file but nothing in the sugar debug log. I can't be sure these errors are related but:

I've attached a couple of screenshots. Here's some info about my installation and environment:

Sugar Version: 6.2
Sugar Edition: Open/Community
Category: Email templates/campaigns
Operating System: Ubuntu 10.04
PHP Version: 5
Database: MySQL
Web Server: Apache2, with memcached (disabled in Sugar settings files due to a previous error)

Steps to reproduce
e.g.
1. Create an email template.
2. Create a new email campaign and try to use your previous template - not in the dropdown.
3. Go to 'view templates' - sitting there just how you left it!

I have the same problem. I create an email template, I can view the template, but when I am setting up the "Create Email Marketing" screen I don't see the template in the "Email Template" dropdown. I am using SugarCRM CE 6.2.3.

Any ideas?

Try to create the template in the email marketing creation in a campaign instead of creating the the template before the campagin.

Yes, that does work. but remember, when you go to campaigns you will see "Create Email Template" and "View Email Templates" in the Tabs. And anything Template you create or view using this method will be not totally useful. This is needlessly confusing and is probably a bug...
