    Default Email Templates Still not Filling Fields

    I posted last week regarding a problem in Sugar CE 5 and not filling in name fields, #'s or whatever I select. This time, I downloaded a brand new copy of Sugar CE 5.0f, created a lead, with name, number and email info. I created an email template using some of these fields and when I send it, none of them get filled.

    I'm not sure if this is a limitation of the CE version or what but it isn't working.

    I have encountered the same problem,

    This is not related to a specific version, bug: 23194

    what I found is that if the email address is unique in the system (between all modules) the insert does work.

    Simply add a uniques email address to the contact/account/??? (primary) and try again.

    Does it work for you than?

    Not realy a solution, but hopefully a clue to whoever needs to solve this bug.

    No, I only have two email addresses in the system along with two names and info. Both are different.

    Hmm, it seems to magically be working now. I'm not sure why but it works now. I am searching for specific email address now then I add. Before I think I checked the boxes from Leads I think.
