Emails - Assigning Users - Purpose?

When I look at an Email, I can assign Users to this Email, although I do not undestand what purpose this servers.

Anybody an idea?

Yes it causes the email to be seen in that users inbox.

That's what I thought as well, but it doesn't seem to work like that. Any other ideas?

Works like a charm here. Once I assign a group email to someone, it goes in to his inbox.
Latest Sugar and IIS.
