Are emails associated everywhere the address is mentioned?

If an email address (say "bob@place.com") is mentioned or attached to multiple things - will the emails sent & recieved from that address show as activities on those things?

For example, bob@place.com is associated with an account, a contact, and a lead.

Bob then sends an email to us - Can I see that email from the account, contact, and lead?
What if I click on the email address from the account and send an email - will that email be visible from the contact?

I'm looking for that too, that's the way Salesforce works, and the way any CRM must work.

But I'm not finding this basic fonctionnality in sugar too.
