I posted this earlier but have made a new discovery that maybe will help. Previously i thought this was a timezone related issue however now I am wondering if it is something else.

The times I am receiving emails seem almost random. The incorrect dates when I view my email

In my account settings I have selected "America/New_York (GMT-5) (+DST) " for my time zone. (I am in Eastern Standard Time) however my server is located elsewhere (Which may be the cause of this, although I would think Sugar would base calculations on GMT not Local Time)

However my emails all seem to being received an hour or so in the past

I created a test script to view the server dates and here is the output

Result with date():
Tuesday
Tuesday 16th of January 2007 08:48:55 PM
Oct 3,1975 was on a Friday
Tue, 16 Jan 2007 20:48:55 CST
1975-10-03T00:00:00-05:00

Result with gmdate():
Wednesday
Wednesday 17th of January 2007 02:48:55 AM
Oct 3,1975 was on a Friday
Wed, 17 Jan 2007 02:48:55 GMT
1975-10-03T05:00:00+00:00

My Server Specs are as follows

Operating System: RedHat Enterprise 4
Webserver: Apache 1.3.37
PHP: 5.1.6
MySQL: 4.1.21
Sugar Version: Version 4.5.1RC (Build 1141)

Any other questions I can answer to future help solve this problem please ask. This is causing a real problem in reading emails
