emial variables not replaced after sending email

SugarCommunity Edition
Version 5.0.0b (Build 3120)
(previously Version 5.0.0a (Build 3120) was there i have upgreaded with patch b i.e Version 5.0.0b (Build 3120) )


I have made a custom module housing provider.


I have made a relationship in this module with activities for sending an email for a selected Housing provider as we do in leads. i.e. when an housing provider is opened in detail view we can click on compose email button in activities subpanel and compose email page opens.


1) This works but the problem is the email id of selected housing provider is not displayed in to section in compose email page.

i have created an email template

I have added this module and its fields as dropdown list in Email template along with Account,Contact/Lead/Prospect,Users.

The housing provider module name is coming in this first list.
Also on selecting housing provider its fields are displeyed and listed in second dropdown list
After selecting the field name from this second list that field name is diaplayed in format $modulename_fieldname.
After clicking on insert button this value is inserted in body area.

then i have saved this email template and named it 'tryhp'.


2) but when i click on compose button on activities subpanel in housing provider's detail view the email id of selected housing provider does not come in to section of email page and after an email is sent the value is not replaced by field values.

3) Also when send button is clicked the email is sent but an error comes

Hello everyone,

i have found the way to solve this email variable problem
the main problem was with email1 field. the module i had created was of company type and so it didi not have email1 field.
i made a new module houseprovider and selected type Person for it.
now it has email1 field so now variables are replaced by value after sending emails

I tried to work out variable replacement within the email template for Accounts and Leads both on my local installation of Sugar PRO and then with the demo instance of SugarCRM PRO, hosted on sugar official website. In Either case SugarCRM was only able to parse variables originated through the Users module, but not from the other two - Accounts, Leads/Contacts/Prospects.
What I was doing was I was picking any Lead or Account going into detail view, and then either clicking on compose email button under Activities subpanel, or simply clicking through the email address hyperlink in a detail view. After that - I was taken to the email module, as expected, where I was selecting my previously created template, and then sending an email message with the previously created template to myself, in all cases I was only getting the following variables replaced:
$contact_user_user_name $contact_user_first_name $contact_user_last_name $contact_user_full_name $contact_user_name
- These come from the Users module,
But as far as it goes for the $account_name or $contact_name $contact_full_name $contact_first_name $contact_last_name $contact_email_and_name1 $contact_account_name, none of these were parsed...
If anyone had a way to fix this issue, please let me know.

I think the developper mode in admin is checked. Unchek it and it will works fine.
