employees vs. users

okay i understand that i cannot delete a user but can i delete employees? during my first visit with the interface i setup employees first and then setup the same people as users and now i have two of each name in there where only one of each has user privledges. is there any way to delete an employee?

I did the exact same thing. Short of going into the database and removing the employees by hand, which I wouldn't advise if you don't know the database well, I don't see any way to remove employees completely. What I ended up doing is marking each of them as "terminated" and changing their last name to "asdf". It's not the most elegant solution, but it gets the job done.
