I don't know what caused the 500 error, but it seemed to happen after I updated the advanced search screens on two of my modules. I updated it on a third as well, but no issues occurred there.

index.php?module=Contacts&action=index gives me a blank page in Firefox - error 500 in IE
index.php?module=Activities&action=index gives me a blank page in Firefox - error 500 in IE

index.php?module=Leads&action=index works fine
index.php?module=Accounts&action=index works fine
index.php?module=Cases&action=index works fine
index.php?module=Calendar&action=index works fine

I ran the repair feature over and over again. I tried the restore function on the search screens to see if I could revert, and that didn't work either. In fact, I don't think I have ever had the repair function repair anything.

I tried the instructions to not show friendly 500 errors in IE and all I get is a blank page, no hint of what the problem might be.
