Error Adding a Note

Hello,

I wonder if anyone can help, I am using Sugar Community Edition, and it has been working normally, but now when trying to add a 'Note' in the History area, instead of opening up to allow me to add my note details, it is closing up the whole History area.

This is the only section that this is happening?

Any advise would be much appreciated as this is used within our organisation, and nobody is currently able to use the our primary function for the system.

Try to do Quick Repair & Rebuild.
and also let me know,whether you have done any customization for notes.
Can you please give me more description to help you better ?

Thank you for your response.

I had been amending fields for notes through the Studio functionality this morning, usual changes which I regularly make in all of the modules, but for some reason, I am now unable to view any notes in the high level notes area, or create a new not, it just shoes a blank area.

All existing notes are visible if viewed via the Contact, Case or Customer they are relevant to.

Check error log of server and sugarcrm.log for more details. Or if you can attach files from custom/modules/Notes/metadata/editviewdefs.php and custom/modules/Notes/metadata/quickcreatedefs.php it would be easy to help.

I am now unable to view any notes in the high level notes area,

Try echoing the list query from include/ListView/ListViewData.php

 echo $main_query; // around line # 307 
  

Try executing that in mysql.
