    Default Error on Backup

Hey folks I was trying to perform a backup today via the admin panel's backup utility and it gave me the following two errors:

Backup directory does not exist, and could not be created.
Backup directory exists, but is not writable.

I was trying to back it up to the c:\ and the filename was sugarbackup.zip. All permissions on the Windows 2000 server seem to be OK (the account has read/write permission)

Any idea as to why this is happening and what we can do to fix it?

    Thanks in advance,
    Aaron

Which account are you referring to? The relevant one would be the one that corresponds with the user under which the web server is running. If you are using IIS, it would be IUSR_<machine name>. If it is Apache, it would be a different user name.

On the rPath administration page, you may have set the firewall to block https on port 8003. Turn off iptables to check if this is the case. Login as root run: service iptables stop You can do so permanently with chkconfig.

Once you can get to that interface if you are running the latest version you can just do full backups through that interface. More details here:
