Error downloading an attachment

Hi,

We cannot download any attachment that we upload in our CRM. We currently switched our hosting from shared to dedicated, since we transfer to our new dedicated server we cannot download any attachment. The following error appears every time we try to download an attachment.

Fatal error: Call to undefined function mb_encode_mimeheader() in /home/asses3/public_html/peopledynamics/SugarCRM/download.php on line 89

Please help.

Hi jopax

It seems you have no mb_strings into your new server.
Check the php_info page.
Edit the php.ini and check if the mb_string extension is commented.
Additionally make sure the site_url attribute into config.php at the root of your system points to the address accessed through browser.
