Default Error emailing:Could not execute: /usr/sbin/sendmail

I seen this problem before when I eval'd Sugar 5.0, and since there was no help on this matter I rolled back to sugar4.5.1i of which I had no issues with email.

I since set up a Sugar 5.1b Community Edition on W2k3 running IIS6 and PHP5.2 with SQL2005. I cannot sucessfully test POP3 with our Mail Enable Server, but am able to sucessfully test with a hosted POP3 email box -- problem with Mail Enable in this case. So, the next step is to set up my SMTP to send messages.

After I put in my parameters to send messages (added a new "Outgoing Mail Server" as SMTP) when I attempt to send a test email message I get the following message:
    Error emailing:Could not execute: /usr/sbin/sendmail

Which does not make sense since /usr/sbin/sendmail is for Linux, How can I resolve this issue - works great on my 4.5.1i install; thought it might have been fixed with 5.1?

In Admin->Email Settings check that Email Transfer Agent = SMTP and the server infos are correct.

Thumbs up Re: Error emailing:Could not execute: /usr/sbin/sendmail

Perfect, this worked like a dream after went in and deleted the outgoing email setting that I set up under the specific users account

The the only thing that I see is outstanding is how to move messages from the "inbox" to any of the folders that you can created under "My Email" All I get after telling the system to delete message from the server or leave it, along with relating the message to something (I select 'none') the message does not move. it remains in the inbox
