Error importing csv file created by sugarcrm

Hello,
I need to pass all the info I have from my personal sugarcrm (on my hardrive) to the sugarcrm on the shared platform.

I have exported the accounts, contacts and activities files as .csv, but when I try to import them to the shared sugarcrm,, I get an error. Given it's the same interface, i'm not editing or changing any of the fields.

Can anyone please help me figure out why the import is not working? Given it comes from the same crm (both sugar) it should be quite easy but for some reason it doesn't work?!

By the way, the error displayed for all the records I want to import is the same one : "invalid datetime"

Perhaps it is because you are using different time and date layouts in your two systems. Check the admin area locale settings and make sure that you are using the same format for both date and time. If this does not work and it Is not important to carry over the created by and modified by dates you can just removing them from your CSV file, and then import again, but i think the first suggestion should work.

On the last import page you can oben advanced settings to specify the datetime format.
