Error with importing data

I have a very small amount of data, in total 63 new accounts I wish to import into Sugar.

I have saved the file as a CSV file and clicked import. It asked me for the location and when I click import I get the following message

File was not uploaded successfully. It may be that the 'upload_max_filesize' setting in your php.ini file is set to a small number

I have olnl 12 colums, with name, address telephone details...the norm, no notes etc

I#ve done this before and I just cant fatham where I am going wrong, so if you could help I would appreciate it. I have tried searching Wiki and have followed the instructions, but these take me past the first step and my sugar isnt allowing to get past iupload

How large is the file? And what value is set for upload_max_filesize?

Version 4.5.1d (Build 1273)

The file size is 8kb. It would be default setting

I'm accessing it via a web browser, off site.

What happens if you try to strip the file so that there are just 5 Accounts or so in it? Does it work now?

Do you have access to the server logfiles? What happens right before the error is thrown?

I dont think I have access to the server log files, only stuff via the sugar interface.

I have stripped it down to only 5 contacts and get the same error message.

What I will try is stripping it down to just the company name and telephone and see if this will work, if it doesnt then I going to have to suppose its something to do with how the system is set up
