Question Error Importing Step 3 - Import Now button

    Hi,

We're evaluating SugarCRM Community Edition Version 5.5.2 (Build 1224) on a Linux, Apache with PHP v5.2.12

The only problem I haven't been able to solve so far with the help of these forums and the wiki is an error when I try to import data from a CSV.

(I'm trying to import a simple 20 record CSV to "Accounts" at the moment, but I get the same error whenever I try any CSV import)

At Import Step 3 I set the field mapping and then click "Import Now" where upon nothing happens.

Turning on some client debugging I see the following error when I click the button:

Message: 'YAHOO.SUGAR.MessageBox' is null or not an object
    Line: 888
    Char: 9
    Code: 0
    URI: ./CRM/index.php

All my permissions are fully open at the moment (777 throughout) while I'm trying to get everything working (I will of course lock down to recommended before going live), as I've seen some posts which relate problems importing to permissions, but no joy. Feels like this just isn't defined or there's a js include missing?

    Any help much appreciated.

    Regards,
    Andrew

    hello Andru,

Can you tell me, have you used any logic_hook?
Are you using English language when you log-in to sugar to import data?
does your csv file has date field to import?
    Thumbs up.

    Hi David,

    Thanks for your reply.

No, no logic_hooks - it's a clean install, only a couple of users created and a few tabs turned off, no other customisation yet.

No, no date, the only fields I'm mapping are CSV Company > Name and CSV Website > Website

    Yes language English (US).

    hello andrew,

Please check the csv file in normal editor, like wordpad to see there is no bug in the file itself.
Otherwise i would say please attach a single line .csv here, so i can check and help!
    Thumbs up.

The error message I thought was pretty clear that it was a problem with one of the UI elements, not the CSV. Clearly SugarCRM reads the CSV correctly as it's showing me my header data at step 3 to allow me to map fields. The error is with loading the progress dialog box.

    No devs read this forum?

    Cheers,
    Andrew
