    Default Error Importing/Updating Customers

    Hello,

We have a module for customers with the import functionality enabled.

Up until now, I have been able to import customers from a tab delimited file successfully. Now, we are seeing the following when trying to import the customer data:

"The record could not be updated due to a permissions"

This seems to be happening for all the customers we are importing. I've looked at the data in a spreadsheet and it all seems fine. Any ideas why we would be seeing this now?

I'm using an id to map to ID (same as before). The header I have in my file is (in tab-delimited form):

    ID
    First Name
    Last Name
    User ID
    Gender
    Member Since
    Date of Birth
    Locked
    Email Address
    Searchable Email Address
    Primary Address
    Primary City
    Primary State
    Primary Postal Code
    Balance
    Previous Allocation
    Bank Name
    Established
    Confirmed
    Active

    Security Question 3
    Security Answer 3
    Home Phone

NOTE: ID and UserID contain the same values. The difference is ID is used by Sugar so we can update entries, User ID is used for display (so we can see a user's id).

    Thanks in advance.

permissions usually means incorrectly set permissions in Linux ... for uploads this probably means the cache directory .... check here for the correct settings

Hmm. I tried changing the permissions as per that link, but still the same problem. I've set the permissions to 775 on my sugarcrm directory.

When uploading a file, where does this appear? In the cache/uploads dir?
