ERROR: Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in crm/custom/modules/Users/Ex

I have had this error on the main page since yesterday.

Suagr 5.1.c CE
OS: LAMP

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in crm/custom/modules/Users/Ext/Vardefs/vardefs.ext.php on line 15

and that's it, nothing else on the page. Did a db rebuild quickfix through sugard admin before this error, then this happened. So I then did a db repair through the cpanel and everyting shows as ok. I am currently running a scan on the entire server to be sure there are no trojans, etc. As this error came out of the blue - so something changed somewhere.

As we are not fortune tellers with a all knowing crysal ball, it would be very helpfull if you would be so kindly to publish your vardefs.ext.php which causes the error... wouldn't it?
